Bebington Folk Dance Club
We meet on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesdays of the month, from 8.00pm until 10.00pm, with a summer break after the first meeting in July until the first meeting in September.
Our traditional country dancing goes back over centuries, taking in medieval and Jane Austen styles, right up to modern, more familiar barn dance or ceilidh favourites. We use CDs and our in-house band to accompany the dancing and we have our own callers who rotate during the year. These callers walk you through the dances and call the moves whilst you are dancing.
We welcome all levels of dancers from complete novices to the more experienced and there is no need to bring a partner.
Come along and experience a typical evening with us. We want you to have fun and gentle exercise in a friendly, social atmosphere. Your first evening is free; thereafter, there is a charge of £2 per person which includes refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits) during the interval.
We look forward to welcoming you.

VENUE
“The Acorn” pub and restaurant is situated on the corner of Village Road. Victoria Hall is behind the pub, in Victoria Hall Walk, off Village Road, with its own car park and plenty of lighting during the darker evenings.
[From the Birkenhead Tunnel, bear right over the flyover, straight only Borough Road. Do Not bear right into Singleton Avenue, but bear left, still in Borough Road, to pass the Football Stadium of Tranmere F.C. After the roundabout at Kings Lane and Broadway, Town Lane is the next turning on your left, and at that point, turn right into Village Rd., and first right into Acorn Close (but not into the Acorn pub car park) and the Hall is on the left.]
