Adlington Folk Dance Club
The Adlington Folk Dance Club has existed for over 50 years, to enjoy and promote English country dances, both as a participation activity and an Art form by giving costume performances.  In 1993 a section called The Adlington Folk Dancers were formed to specialize in the costume performances.

They perform English traditional country dances from 1651 to date, In a variety of period costumes.
Bothy Folk Club
The Bothy Folk Club meets Sunday nights at the Park Golf Club, Park Rd West, Southport at 8-00pm and has regular nationally famous guests alternating with singers nights when it is your chance to 'have a go' if you want

Wirral Folk on the Coast Festival - a weekend of folk music and much much more on the beautiful Wirral Peninsular
Folk North West
Folk North West meet mostly on the second Sunday of the month from October to April for dancing, including the opportunity for more challenging dances.

Two Left Feet
The Wirral based ceilidh band Two Left Feet have been providing traditional music for ceilidh dances for over twenty years. We play traditional dance tunes from Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales and also have a selection of American tunes if you require an American style 'Hoe Down'.
Liverpool  Folk On The Dock Festival

Mersey Morris Men
Mersey Morris Men perform dances from three very distinct English traditions :-

Cotswold - this represents the central core of the MMM repertoire with dances from variety of individual Cotswold traditions.

Rapper - sword dancing from the NE, using flexible two-handled swords.

Molly - dances from East Anglia is the Folk Arts Network of the North West.
Mockbeggar Morris
Contrary to what you might expect, Mockbeggar Morris is not a type of car designed by Morris Motors, but the name of a group of women from the Wirral Peninsula who dance a form of traditional English dancing called North West Morris.

Ormskirk Folk Dance Club
Founded in 1950, the Ormskirk Folk Dance Club continues to prosper with its friendly and welcoming classes.  The club meet on Monday evenings (8.15 - 10.30 pm) at Emmanuel Methodist Church Hall, Derby Street, Ormskirk L39 2DE
 
Regency ReJigged
We are a group of dancers based in the North West of England. We perform dances popular from the 17th to early 19th centuries in Regency style costume, accompanied by our musicians.

Regency ReJigged meet to practise on the second Sunday of each month. New members to the group are always welcome. If you have some experience of dancing or playing music and would like to perform in public, do please contact us via our website.

Rondezvous

Chester’s French and European Music and Dance Group

We are a group of musicians and dancers who enjoy learning, playing and dancing to French and European music.
We meet on the first Monday of the month from 20:00 to 22:30 at St Werburgh’s Parish Centre, 26 Brook Street, Chester CH1 3DZ

All are welcome - you don't even need to bring a partner! There is a small charge of £2 per session to cover the cost of hiring the hall.  Please bring refreshments with you.
